Strategy & Transformation Facilitation

Big decisions. Complex change. Multiple stakeholders.
You need more than a plan: You need alignment.

I facilitate the conversations that move organisations forward: Strategy sessions, change implementation, multi-stakeholder alignment. So you execute with clarity and buy-in.

You're navigating one of these transitions:

Strategic Decisions

Your leadership team needs to make critical decisions: new market entry, product pivot, organisational restructuring. But you're stuck in analysis paralysis, endless debate, or superficial consensus that doesn't hold when implementation begins.

Organisational Change

You're restructuring, merging teams, shifting to new ways of working. People are resistant, confused, or disengaged. You have a plan on paper, but translating it into actual behavior change feels impossible.

Multi-Stakeholder Complexity

You're working across departments, partner organisations, or external stakeholders. Everyone has different agendas, priorities, and communication styles. Getting alignment feels like herding cats.

Crisis or Urgency

Something's broken and needs fixing fast: a failed project, a leadership crisis, a market shift. You need to move quickly without making things worse, but emotions are high and clarity is low.

What happens when strategic conversations fail?

  • Wasted time: Months spent in meetings that produce no real decisions or action

  • False consensus: Everyone nods in the meeting, then goes back to their desks and does something different

  • Resistance & sabotage: People who weren't truly involved in the decision undermine implementation

  • Lost momentum: While you debate internally, competitors move, markets shift, opportunities close

The cost: A failed strategic initiative can cost millions. More importantly, it erodes trust in leadership and makes the next change even harder.

How I facilitate transformation

I don't run generic workshops or follow cookie-cutter change management playbooks. I design interactive, participatory processes that create genuine alignment and are tailored to your needs. Not just agreement on slides, but shared understanding that drives action.

What this looks like:

1. Strategy Facilitation
Whether you're defining strategy, making critical decisions, or navigating pivots, I facilitate the conversations that get leadership teams aligned. Using systemic thinking and structured processes, we surface assumptions, explore options, and build genuine consensus.

→ Outcome: Clear strategic direction with leadership buy-in
→ Format: Strategy offsites, executive retreats, decision-making workshops
→ Timeline: 1-3 days intensive or phased sessions over weeks
→ Investment: Custom to scope

2. Change & Transformation Implementation
Change doesn't fail because of bad strategy: It fails because the people don't understand it, believe in it, or know how to do it. I help you design the change process and facilitate the rollout: town halls, team workshops, stakeholder sessions that create understanding, ownership and address hidden issues.

→ Outcome: Change that sticks because people are genuinely on board
→ Format: Support designing the change process, facilitated rollout sessions, ongoing implementation support
→ Timeline: Weeks to months depending on scale
→ Investment: Custom to scope

3. Multi-Stakeholder & Partner Facilitation
When you're working across organisational boundaries, with partners, coalitions, or consortiums, I facilitate the conversations that build trust and alignment. Particularly valuable for international organisations, NGOs, and public-private partnerships.

→ Outcome: Stakeholders moving in the same direction despite different agendas
→ Format: Multi-stakeholder workshops, consortium meetings, partnership strategy sessions, advice to leadership
→ Investment: Custom to scope

Why organisations trust me to facilitate their most critical conversations

I've done this in the most complex environments: UN Regional Consultation Processes, C-level strategy sessions, steering meetings with generals and ambassadors, regional conferences with 300+ participants across continents. If it's complex, I've likely facilitated it.

Interactive, not lecture-based: I use LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY®, creative methods, and nervous-system-based approaches to make strategy and change conversations engaging, not draining.

Impartial facilitation: I'm not pushing an agenda. I'm helping you have the conversation you need to have and reach decisions that actually stick.

Results-focused: Every session ends with clear next steps, assigned owners, and timelines. No more workshops that end with "that was interesting" but no action.

FAQs

Q: How is this different from hiring a strategy consultant?
A: Strategy consultants often develop the strategy for you. I facilitate your team developing the strategy together. This creates much stronger buy-in and ownership. You know your business; I help you have better conversations about it.

Q: Can you facilitate virtually, or only on-site?
A: Both. I've facilitated hundreds of virtual and hybrid sessions, from 5-person executive teams to 300-participant conferences. In virtual and hybrid situations, I use highly engaging and participatory approaches, methods and tools.

Q: What if our stakeholders are in different countries/time zones?
A: I've facilitated across 30 countries and multiple time zones. I design processes that account for geography, culture, and language differences (I work in English, French, and German).

Q: How long do these engagements typically last?
A: It varies. A strategy offsite might be 1-3 days. A change implementation might involve monthly facilitation sessions over 6-12 months. We design the process based on your needs.
